This XMC team is responsible for planning and executing brand-led campaigns and events for our
largest client across multiple brands and banners. We work closely with our clients to plan
alongside their various Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and inter-agency teams.

The ideal Account Manager has a passion for bringing new ideas to life! They are a team player
with a “hands on” approach. They are comfortable working both independently and within a team
environment and are committed to growing and mentoring direct reports. They are a dynamic
thinker with a positive approach to thought leadership. They build relationships with clients and
deliver consistent results that meet or exceed client expectations.
This role includes the planning, execution and measurement of programs and projects within the
parameters of the overall client brand strategy for our largest client account. The Account
Manager will assist in proposal development and budget creation across brand-led
campaigns/projects, and experiential activations (including travel nationally) in collaboration with
clients, colleagues, and other agency teams.
They will manage program timelines and deliver flawless brand experiences from start to finish,
effectively delegating tasks to (Senior) Account Coordinator(s). As the point of contact for day-to-
day client operations, they will be responsible for providing program updates both internally and to
client and will work alongside Senior Management to grow the business and provide proactive
solutions to client challenges.
Executional lead on all client programs, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Contributing to planning, project management, execution, and reporting. This may include some resource planning and delegation to (Senior) Account Coordinators and other team members.
Responsible for leading communication with vendors.
Provides consistent communication with vendors to ensure activation details are shared and expectations/deliverables are made clear.
Ownership of vendor payment, ensuring invoices are submitted and paid on-time.
Owner of project timelines, ensuring all key stakeholders (internal and external) are held accountable to deadlines for production, execution, and reporting.
Client relationship building, and client and stakeholder management including anticipating and managing potential challenges on specific projects. Ensuring ongoing and trusted two-way communications with clients. Ownership of client satisfaction.
Contribute to client strategy including providing innovative ideas, exploring new opportunities for client success, and continuous improvement. Provides regular and timely communication with account team for overall client account coordination and success.
Budget Building, Tracking and Reconciliation
Building, tracking and reconciliation of all program budgets.
Contributes to sharing ideas, enabling the success of others, and possessing a positive attitude on a day-to-day basis. Having an impact on the overall effectiveness of the business.
Related post-secondary degree, college diploma, or equivalent industry experience ideally in Business or Marketing
Minimum 3-4 years of marketing experience (agency and/or experiential marketing or event setting preferred)
Experience managing a direct report
Bilingual (French/English) an asset
Experienced Manager of client projects and events
Ability to effectively develop and communicate ideas to client and internal senior team
Ability to establish and grow trusted relationships
Team player with a positive attitude
Exudes calmness under pressure
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Experience within the sports industry an asset
