Reports to: Marketing Manager, European and White Spirits

As a Brand Manager (BM), you will drive the brand’s strategy by increasing brand awareness and driving profitable brand growth through the insights of the consumer.


This role will manage brand initiatives, integrated communication planning, program activation, consumer insights and lead the brand’s P&L. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in an environment that embraces change where they can collaborate, create and champion their own ideas!


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES


Marketing Strategy

Marketing Strategy Lead annual integrated marketing and communication planning, serve as brand owner to ensure consistent brand strategy across all marketing touchpoints. Understand the consumer and translate the intelligence into a brand strategy and execution plan. Develop media strategy recommendations while optimizing ROI.


Brand Plan Execution

Coordinate the cross functional team in the execution of defined Marketing Plans through 360° activation, implementing ATL activities and in collaboration with subject matter experts (Digital Marketing Manager, Associate Brand Manager, Innovation) and below-the-line activities in collaboration with Sales and Channel & Customer Marketing Department.


Brand Diagnosis and Assessment Oversees the brand profitability and performance by province, suggesting corrective strategies when needed and working hand in hand with Sales, Channel & Customer Marketing and FP&A Departments.

Financial Planning

Proactively manage and analyze the brand’s P&L including consumer insights, competitive and category trends. Manage marketing budgets ensuring efficiencies in the annual plan.

Product/Program Development and Execution Lead consumer activation plan across advertising, digital and social media, public relations, special events and sponsorships. Lead external agencies and creative partners to develop locally relevant assets and best-in-class deployment of global hero and collateral assets across digital and traditional channels.



SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • 5 + years in brand building or management preferred

  • Demonstrated passion for the luxury goods industry

  • BA/BS required

  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives

  • Creative thinker who can champion the brand and bring it to life • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and financial/business understanding

  • Strong ability to effectively present and communicate to leadership and cross functional teams

  • Able to build collaborative relationships, influence and work cross functionally and with different cultures.

  • Strong consumer insight and judgment

  • Thrives in an environment that is fast paced and able to adapt to changing situations

  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Data Analysis, Syndicated Research

  • Ability to travel
