Title: Senior Account Manager
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Reports to: Director
The Senior Account Manager is the key client interface and is responsible for client program delivery and satisfaction. This role includes the planning, execution, and measurement of programs and projects within the parameters of the overall client brand strategy. This role includes client relationship building and management for successful program delivery, as well as recognizing and realizing opportunities to grow the business. As an XMC team member, the Senior Account Manager demonstrates collaboration, strives for excellence, and always looks to better the agency and improve effectiveness overall.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
Project lead on client programs, managing strategic planning, project management, execution, and reporting/measurement. This may include resource management and delegation to Account Managers and/or Account Coordinators.
Responsible for developing and executing programs that successfully deliver on client briefs including contribution to program strategy, development of the proposal, execution of activations, and delivery of program reporting.
Client Communication Client management includes leading status calls, ensuring ongoing and trusted two-way communications with clients. Provides regular and timely communication with the account team for overall client account coordination and success. Ownership of client satisfaction on a project basis. Project Planning / Strategy A significant contributor to client strategy and program plan(s) including developing innovative and client-specific ideas and programs. Brings new ideas and clients together in new ways for new business development. Budget Management Responsible for development of final budgets as well as ensuring account team contributes to budget tracking and reconciliation of project budgets. Ensures that all program invoices are issued on time.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIRED
Related university degree, college diploma or equivalent industry experience
Approximately 7 years marketing and client experience
Excellent problem solving and decision-making capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and grow trusted relationships
Project and program management experience
Is results-focused: Demonstrates tenacity and dedication to achieving goals
Can be counted on to demonstrate effective and capable leadership under pressure
