ROLE OVERVIEW
In the dynamic world of beverage marketing, we’re seeking an Account Manager who is ready to lead ground-breaking experiences and deliver innovative ideas to the client.
Working on the Molson Coors Account Team, this role will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager to own the client relationship and play a key role in shaping brand strategy. The Account Manager will oversee integrated programs and activations, manage approvals and coordinate execution through a multi-channel approach.
This position involves leading the planning and delivery of events ranging from local sampling initiatives to large-scale national programs. Responsibilities include managing timelines, budgets, and resources; preparing client-ready presentations; and ensuring all deliverables align with brand objectives. The Account Manager will also mentor junior team members, foster strong internal and external partnerships, and proactively identify opportunities to elevate program performance.
The ideal candidate brings exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, a hands-on mentality, and the flexibility to excel both independently and within a cross-functional team. Playing a pivotal role in growth and mentorship, the candidate will ensure consistent results that exceed client expectations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
Lead and build relationships with clients that are based on mutual respect and executional excellence.
Understand the client business inside and out to help lead communications between client and direct manager/leadership team.
Identify and inform on industry trends.
Work with the Strategy team to develop insights on consumer behaviour before and after the program executes.
Be a business builder, not a brief taker.
Project Management
Own all project timelines and deliverables for cross-functional working team.
Build all key communication documents, including, but not limited to, budgets, critical paths and workback schedules.
Hold suppliers and teams accountable to deadlines for production and execution.
Lead reporting on all programming.
Team
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure client objectives are fulfilled.
Work to build the execution team with both full-time and part-time staff.
Train, lead and manage an Account Coordinator and/or Sr. Account Coordinator.
Administration
Build, manage and report on small to large sized program budgets.
Build trust in review process with clients by being able to deliver detailed breakdowns and rationale on pricing/structure of budgets.
Contribute to the overall management and maintenance of cloud-based storage used by XMC.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Previous internship or work experience with an agency and/or in the marketing/events field.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to build relationships with both internal and external working teams.
Strong technology skills specifically in Microsoft Office 365.
Experience in the event, hospitality, and client services industry is an asset.
Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
Willing to travel to the United States and across Canada, as may be required.
Strong attention to detail
Experience in the Sport and Entertainment Space is an asset
