ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager in the beverage and alcohol industry who is ready to lead ground-breaking experiences delivering new and innovative ideas to the client. Managing integrated programs and overseeing client interactions, the Senior Account Manager will oversee approvals and coordinate execution through a multi-channel approach and leadership of an existing account team.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in client management with historic success in planning, executing, and the management of client-based programming and projects. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, a hands-on mentality, and the flexibility to excel both independently and within a cross-functional team are attributes required to be a successful Senior Account Manager. Candidates will play a pivotal role in growth and mentorship programming and personnel while delivering consistent results that exceed client expectations.
Working closely with the Director, the candidate will be the driving force behind the flawless execution of brand experiences, while managing timelines, delegating tasks, and serving as the primary day-to-day contact in client operations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
Lead and build relationships with clients that are based on mutual respect and executional excellence.
Understand the client business inside and out to help lead communications between client and direct manager/leadership team.
Provide regular and timely communication with client stakeholders for overall client coordination & success.
Work with the Strategy Team to develop insights on consumer behaviour before and after the program executes.
Contributor to client strategy and program plans including developing innovative and client-specific ideas and programs and leveraging XMC internal resources.
Bring new ideas and clients together in new ways for new business development
Ownership of client satisfaction.
Be a business builder, not a brief taker.
Project Management
Own all project timelines and deliverables for cross-functional working team.
Resource management and delegation to account team to ensure all key communication documents, including, but not limited to, budgets, critical paths and work back schedules are created and managed.
Hold teams accountable to deadlines for program deliverables.
Lead reporting on all programming.
Team
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure client objectives are fulfilled.
Work to build the execution team with both full time and part time staff.
Train, lead, and manage an Account Coordinator and/or Sr. Account Coordinator.
Administration
Build, manage and report on small to large-sized program budgets.
Build trust in review process with clients by being able to deliver detailed breakdowns and rationale on pricing/structure of budgets.
Ensure all program financials are tracking against projected P&L
Contribute to the overall management and maintenance of cloud-based storage used by XMC.

Support and actively lead internal pillar team initiatives to continue to foster a positive work environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
7+ years of related agency and/or marketing team experience.
Experience leading cross-functional teams through multiple projects and priorities.
Ability to establish and grow trusted relationships
Strong organizational skills: deliver against tight timelines, multiple priorities, and manage simultaneous deliverables.
Strong technology skills specifically in Microsoft Office 365.
Experienced and confident in problem solving and an ability to thrive in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty.
Experience building, managing, and reconcile program budgets and financial literacy related to overall programming
Can be counted on to demonstrate effective and capable leadership under pressure.
Bilingual (French/English) an asset.
Willing to travel to the United States and across Canada, as may be required.
